Electronic cards - explanatory note
- The electronic cards system was introduced for the start of the 2010 season, with the intention of replacing the traditional hard copy cards.
- The system is essentially the same as before, but online.
- Each fixture has its own "card", If you wish to express an interest in playing in any particular match, click the name of the opponents in the Electronic Cards section of the website - click here to go to that section.
- This should take you to a "Google document" - this is almost identical to a Word document (or any other form of word processing document). Google documents are however held online, rather than on any particular person's PC. Any authorised person can edit the document online. You can therefore add your name to the list of players interested in that particular match.
- You must however follow the instructions to save the document once you have added your name. Otherwise your name will disappear off the list. Until you are used to doing this, the best way of checking is to go back into the relevant electronic card, to make sure that your name is still there.
- Please do not edit any other part of the document - eg the details of the fixture. Please only add (or remove) your name.
- The website administrator can track the changes made by different users.
- Access is available only to Romany members, through the password-protected members' section of the website.
